This Parking License Agreement (“Agreement”) is effective as of the approved parking start date (“Commencement Date”) between Dallas Big Rig Parking (“Licensor”) and the individual, company, and any authorized agent requesting or using parking (“Licensee”). This Agreement grants a limited license to use an approved parking area. It does not create a lease or bailment, and Licensor does not take custody of the vehicle or its contents.
1. Rates, approval, and payment
Launch rates are $25 for up to twenty-four (24) consecutive hours, $100 for seven (7) consecutive days, and $250 for thirty (30) consecutive days. Credit-card and debit-card payments include a 3.75% transaction fee, subject to a $1.25 minimum transaction fee. The parking subtotal, transaction fee, and final total are disclosed before payment is submitted. Fleet and multi-space pricing requires a written quote. A submitted request does not guarantee availability. Fees must be paid before parking. Licensor may change rates for future parking periods.
2. Sales, cancellations, and refunds
Except where required by law or expressly approved by Licensor in writing, confirmed parking is non-refundable. Daily and weekly parking expires at the end of the paid period. Monthly parking does not automatically renew unless the payment link or written confirmation expressly states that recurring billing is enabled. No prorated refund is provided for a partially used period. Licensee should contact Licensor promptly to resolve any billing error before initiating a payment dispute; nothing in this Agreement waives rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
3. Extensions, overages, and late amounts
Parking beyond the confirmed end time requires approval and payment. If an approved extension has not been paid, an overage charge of $35 per day may apply. Amounts more than five (5) days overdue may incur a $25 late fee per vehicle. Licensor may suspend access and pursue lawful removal, towing, storage, or collection remedies for unpaid or unauthorized parking. Any towing, booting, storage, notice, or disposition will be performed only as permitted by applicable law.
4. Access and gate security
Gate codes and access credentials are confidential and may not be shared. Every person entering or leaving must follow the provided gate procedure and secure the gate after passage. Leaving a gate unsecured may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
5. Vehicle identification and required records
Licensee must provide all records requested for operational review, which may include year, make, model, vehicle identification number, license plate or unit number, current registration, current insurance, driver identification, and current vehicle photographs. Vehicles must display or retain any permit, receipt, sticker, hanger, or other authorization supplied by Licensor. Missing or inaccurate information may delay or prevent confirmation.
6. Parking conduct
Licensee must park only where directed, keep gates and travel lanes clear, set parking brakes, and operate carefully. No “For Sale” display is permitted. No dumping, fuel transfer, unauthorized repair, tire service, oil change, or other maintenance may be performed in the parking area. Any person performing unauthorized work may be required to leave. Parking while waiting for work at a separate maintenance operation does not authorize repairs inside the parking yard.
7. Restricted vehicles and loads
Loaded trailers, hazardous material, medical or radioactive waste, petroleum products, environmental waste, inoperable vehicles, heavy equipment, dump trucks, waste haulers, manure haulers, oil haulers, and other unusual vehicles or loads require advance written approval and may be prohibited. Licensee is responsible for disclosing the vehicle and load accurately and for preventing leaks or releases.
8. Amenities and condition of property
Amenities vary by location and may include fencing, lighting, cameras, gates, paved or unpaved surfaces, and waste containers. The property is a commercial parking yard and does not promise truck-stop amenities, hookups, showers, or restrooms. Licensee accepts the property and available amenities in their existing condition, subject to applicable law.
9. Risk of loss and security
Licensee parks entirely at Licensee’s own risk. Licensor does not promise to monitor, secure, or protect any vehicle, trailer, cargo, equipment, or personal property and is not an insurer. Licensee should use appropriate kingpin locks, wheel locks, steering locks, GPS tracking, cargo security, and other safeguards. Loaded trailers may face increased theft risk.
10. Insurance, damage, and indemnity
Every vehicle must remain registered, insured, and operable unless Licensor approves otherwise in writing. Licensee is responsible for damage caused by Licensee, Licensee’s drivers, vehicles, trailers, cargo, contractors, or guests to buildings, pavement, fencing, gates, equipment, other vehicles, or persons. To the extent permitted by law, Licensee will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Licensor and its owners, affiliates, employees, and agents from claims arising from Licensee’s use of the property or breach of this Agreement, except to the extent caused by a party who cannot lawfully be indemnified.
11. Unauthorized, defaulted, and abandoned vehicles
A vehicle is unauthorized when it is parked without confirmation, outside the paid period, in an unapproved area, or without required identification. Licensor may terminate this license for nonpayment, material breach, unsafe conduct, or failure to follow staff direction. Unauthorized or apparently abandoned vehicles may be removed, towed, stored, or otherwise handled only after the notices and procedures required by applicable law. Licensee remains responsible for lawful towing, storage, court, collection, and administrative costs attributable to Licensee’s breach.
12. Email communications
By providing an email address, Licensee agrees to receive transactional and operational email needed to review the request, deliver a payment link, provide access, send renewal or expiration notices, and administer parking. Promotional email is optional and is not a condition of purchasing parking. Personal information is handled according to the Privacy Notice.
13. Termination and entire agreement
Licensor may terminate parking as permitted by this Agreement and applicable law. The selected Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or fleet agreement, the General Parking Terms, Yard Rules, approved request, and payment confirmation form the complete parking agreement. If a plan-specific term conflicts with these General Parking Terms, the plan-specific term controls for that parking period.
Selecting the agreement checkbox and submitting the parking request records the agreement type, version, request reference, and acceptance time. Parking remains subject to human approval.
